In a May 13 TikTok video, Harvey opened up about her recent weight loss journey, revealing that she gained 15 pounds of “relationship weight” when she and Michael B. Jordan started dating over a year ago. “It was awful, none of my clothes fit me,” the 25-year-old model said. “It just wasn’t OK.”

Regarding her fitness routine, Harvey shared that she “has been doing Pilates regularly for the past year. I’ve been doing it for a few years, but I’ve been very consistent in the last year. And when I I was trying to lose weight, I was training like five, six times a week, and I would even, for the first month and a half, I would even do two days.” She added that she usually combines a Pilates class with a cardio session or a 30-minute hike.

Although she didn’t follow a “specific diet,” Harvey admitted that she was on a strict calorie deficit and “consumed about 1,200 calories a day, tops. I was trying to do such as meat and vegetables and as a minimum of carbohydrates.”

Even before receiving criticism for talking about his calorie-restricted diet, Harvey was on the defensive.

“Before you start your shit this is what worked for me and MY body,” she wrote in the comments section. “Everyone is different, so adapt your needs to achieve your goals [prayer hands emoji].”
