Gigi Hadid arrived at Vogue World: Paris in a bejeweled mini dress that gave the illusion that she was topless.

Hadid, 29, donned the stunning Balmain design on Sunday, June 23, while hosting the Vogue World: Paris afterparty, Voguethe annual parade of .

Her mini dress was a vibrant purple with jewelry creating the illusion that she was baring her chest. The dress also included an image of a micro denim skirt – also created with the various jewelry – which had a piece of “fabric” draped over her hips. The dress achieved the bold illusion with dark purple, black, white, lilac and indigo jewelry that highlighted the details of the dress.

Hadid’s dress was the key element of her ensemble, while she kept her accessories and glamor simple and sophisticated. She wore her short hair slicked back, while her makeup was very soft and neutral.

As for her accessories, she wore chunky silver earrings, black oval sunglasses, and a pair of black pointed-toe heels.

The main event, Vogue World: Paris, was hosted by Cara Delevingne and is a “collaboration with youth sports academies from across France.” The Sunday celebration showcased decades of fashion dating back to the 1920s, associated with cycling, gymnastics, tennis, fencing, station wagon and a variety of other sports, according to Vogue.

Throughout the parade, participants were able to observe the collections of contemporary and historic French designers and fashion houses. More than 500 athletes, artists, surprise guests and models were also in attendance.

She also joined Kendall Jenner to kick off the celebration at Place Vendôme. The couple rode horses while dressed head to toe in Hermes. The horses were draped in colorful Hermès scarves and galloped around the square in front of the guests.

Later, the duo returned at the end of the event with all the models. Hadid wore a gold and blue look with a structured bodice and flowy skirt, while Jenner wore a sheer flowy dress in neutral tones.
