High temperatures require even higher hemlines. Just look at Bella Hadid who arrived in the south of France for the Cannes Film Festival on Sunday, wearing a leg-baring mini dress while stepping out for a stylish stroll in the sun.

Proving that the best festival fashion moments don’t always happen on the red carpet, the model took to the streets in an outfit that screamed summer. For the daytime outing, Hadid went braless in an espresso brown mini dress with spaghetti straps and seams under the bust and at the hips that gave the illusion she was wearing high-cut underwear. She paired the bodycon dress with pink suede kitten heels from Prada, a stack of thin gold bracelets on one wrist and a flesh-colored handbag with three-dimensional floral details that matched the shade of her shoes.

Her brown hair was styled straight and slicked back behind her ears, revealing a pair of large gold hoop earrings and gold-rimmed aviator sunglasses. Hadid completed her glam with a nude lip, bronzed skin and soft pink blush.

Hadid’s latest outing marks her first Cannes appearance in two years. Although she skipped the festival altogether in 2023, she attended several red carpet events the previous year, including the Broker premiere, where she stunned in a white boat-neck dress that included a hip cutout dressed in gold detailing. Strappy white heels, diamond earrings and a bouncy blowout provided the perfect finishing touches to her look.
