Chaos outside courthouse as Trump flasher snatches sign from protester’s hands

Metro

Chaos briefly erupted across the street from the Manhattan courthouse, where jurors in Donald Trump’s secret trial were deliberating Thursday when a supporter of the former president snatched signs from the hands of a protester.

Juliet Germanotta, a pro-Trump activist – who led her march on Wednesday – shouted “Transsexuals for Trump!” ” as she caught the “Do you hear Trump lying?” signs from the woman protesting inside Collect Pond Park.

“Take her down!” Get out of here, bitch! “” another Trump fan shouted at the sign holder as the two struggled.

Germanotta was seen throwing the signs to the ground and grabbing the woman’s bag.

The protester pushed Germanotta away before the cops separated them.

They were spotted on opposite sides of the park after the fight.

Germanotta – a “sexy 42-year-old transsexual who loves Trump” – was among about 20 supporters, including New York’s famous Times Square Naked Cowboy, who showed up outside the Lower Manhattan courthouse to support the presumptive 2024 Republican presidential candidate.

“If Trump is convicted, that would be great because his numbers would go up,” Germanotta said. “More people would see what an injustice this political witch hunt that has been going on for years and years is.”

Naked cowboy Robert Burck played his guitar while singing a song about the former president, saying: “Indict him, convict him, throw him in jail, whatever you do, Donald Trump will always win , and that seems like a good idea to me. .”

One man in the crowd held a sign that said, “The three greatest American presidents: George Washington, John F. Kennedy, Donald Trump,” and another person’s sign featured Trump’s photo and said, “Never surrender.” “.

A woman from Monterey, California, held a Bible in her hand and sang in tongues in front of the 100 Center Street courthouse, saying, “God is with Trump. God delivered people from prison.

Germanotta was arrested in August 2020 for allegedly defacing a Black Lives Matter mural, and she admitted to being a passenger in a car that drove through a group of BLM protesters in Times Square a month later. No charges were filed at the time for the driving incident.
