Chaos breaks out as Viddal Riley, Isaac Chamberlain and Chev Clarke clash after Riley’s latest win

Viddal Riley was involved in a clash with two of his British rivals following his victory over Mikael Lawal on Saturday night.

Riley comfortably dispatched Lawal to retain his English cruiserweight title – and now has his eyes set on a shot at the British belt.

Immediately after his victory, Riley was joined by the owner of that bracelet, Isaac Chamberlain, who had some choice words for his rival.

“You were just running, if you box like that against me you will have something else coming because this fight is nothing,” he said.

Riley fired back, “Look, you beat that same guy and you started shedding tears, do you see tears on my face?”

“You didn’t play,” Chamberlain replied. “What kind of performance was that? That performance was dead.

“Your own coach was telling you to be brave because you’re not in the ring, you’re running scared.”

Chev Clarke, who Chamberlain was ordered to defend his British title against next, then attempted to force his way to ringside and all hell broke loose.

The cameras cut out when security intervened and the three fighters were separated.

Regardless of the commotion, Riley proved tonight that he is well above England’s standard.

The champion was simply too much for Lawal, who struggled to lay a glove on Riley throughout the fight.

Riley’s silky footwork and peppery jab kept Lawal at bay as the challenger plodded forward.

As the contest wore on, Lawal began to close in, but Riley’s lateral movement meant the Shepherd’s Bush slugger was unable to put his feet down and unleash the eye-catching shot he lined up.

In the end, Lawal couldn’t make a dent on Riley and the judges’ scorecards read 98-92, 99-91, 99-91 in favor of the English champion.
