Céline Dion gave a surprise performance of “My heart will continue”

Céline Dion sings her heart in front of an improbable audience: TGL golf fans. Sitting for an impromptu interview with Marty Smith of ESPN at the Palm Beach Gardens event, Florida, the legendary “Queen of Power Ballads” was requested, predictable, on her golf game. His answer came in the form of a song.

“What song in your catalog best represents your golf game?” Smith asked in a clip shared later at X, formerly known as Twitter.

Dion thought about the question for a while before the fans give their two hundred. “Oh, some people have suggestions,” she said. “It’s good!” After the encouragement of the crowd, the singer then broke out in a (slightly updated) version of “My Heart Will Contio”. “Near, far, wherever you are,” she sang, “I think my ball will continue.”

Smith joined Dion for the refrain and the crowd broke out in applause. “You’re not bad,” she told her.

It was a moment of spontaneity for the artist, who has spent the last years fighting against the syndrome of the steep person, an autoimmune neurological disorder which it was diagnosed in 2022. Dion made its triumphant return to the scene after its rare diagnosis with the Paris Olympics of Edith Piaf.

“I chose to work with my whole body and my soul, from head to toe, with a medical team,” she said Vogue France Earlier that year, teasing his trip to Paris. “I want to be the best possible. My goal is to review the Eiffel Tower!”

What’s more I am: Céline Dion. The film was created last summer.

“For the past two years have been such a challenge for me,” said Dion in a statement at the time, by E! News. “The journey of the discovery of my state to learn to live and manage it, but not to let it define me.”

“While the road to take over my career in performance continues, I realized how much I missed it, being able to see my fans,” she continued. “During this absence, I decided that I wanted to document this part of my life, to try to raise awareness of this little -known condition, to help others that share this diagnosis.”
