LAMB is now the longest wide receiver on the list in terms of time spent with cowboys, but he always seeks to learn players like Pickens as he did from Amari Cooper earlier in his career.
“I look at him each representative in which he is if I am not, and on the film when I finish if I am, I will go watch it after that. So, just study the game, I am a student at a game, I love it, I appreciate it, really everyone in the room but GP in particular, it’s a talent.”
Conversely, Pickens wants to take what Lamb specializes and add it to his arsenal.
“Just intermediate things,” said Pickens. “He has superb feet, so walking in certain places, he goes up a lot in place, which means that he can happen where he goes quickly in a short space and he is big. Many people do not know that he is a bit tall.”
While Pickens learns more and more close to the lamb, he also puts himself aware of the cowboys game book. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer wanted to rent the efforts of Pickens in the meeting rooms of the team to learn as much as he could so quickly, and the good news is that Pickens saw a lot of the same things before and is not alone in the learning process.
“I am in a way in learning the games at the moment. Offensively, the games are universal throughout the league,” said Pickens. “So continue to work, then as I said, we also have a lot of recruited guys here, so everyone is trying to (learn) … It’s a collective thing.”
While the new Cowboys look goes to the 2025 season, Pickens has a lot to prove in the last year of its recruit contract. It is not only in the field, because there have been concerns about the maturity and culture of Pickens.
The cowboys have done their own research on Pickens and estimated that it could be an adjustment, and so far has only had brilliant reports on how its addition in the first outings, including LAMB.
“I knew who he was as a player, obviously, looking at him with the Steelers and how passionate about the game, I think they have somewhat confused it once you are so passionate about something for which you are ready to do anything,” said Lamb.
“Regarding victory, and I mean being just happy in an organization, not saying that it was not, not saying it was, but I mean you never know. He has not stopped smiling since he happened, so I’m going to start with that.”
Pickens has heard the noise but does not care about external stories and wants to do what he has been trying from the start: put yourself at work.
“I am actually, like a cold guy,” said Pickens. “There is a big phase of tornado that is not even true. I am a cold guy and I love to work …”
“Staying just humble. This is a bit like what I have always done. So, even when the story was what history was, I still didn’t stop working, to stay humble.”
Lamb and Pickens will now get to work on the writing of the history of their time together, in the hope that their styles of play of compliments can lead to more victories for cowboys from 2025.
“If it is tired, I can guarantee you that I am not,” said Lamb. “So being his backbone and being here for him and let him know that he has obtained help from the other side, it is certain that it is a dog and it is ready to win, and I will do everything in my power to do it.”
