CDC advisers approve Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccine for children ages 6-17

Advisors from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention supported the use of Modern The Covid-19 vaccine from Inc. in children aged 6 to 17 years.

Children in the age group already have access to Covid-19 vaccines made by Pfizer Inc. and its partner BioNTech SE. Advisors on Thursday recommended that Moderna’s shot be made available to that age group as well, in a pair of 15-0 votes.
