Englewood, Colorado – The choice of the first round of the Broncos seems to be as announced.
While the head coach Sean Payton was looking at the corner half of Texas Jahdae Barron during his initial training as a Bronco, Payton saw the features they evaluated during the pre-trafic process.
“I would say (it is) exactly what we have seen on a band: intelligent, wise,” said Payton. “If you look carefully, some people make the transition and stop very quickly. He very quickly Twitch. I would say he is sticky in the cover. I think he is one of those players who already at a young age understands the divisions. I sometimes worry with the corners. … If you defend each route, you do not defend.
The winner of the Jim Thorpe 2024 prize as the best defensive rear in the country said that he “appreciates the process” when he returns to the field of practice for the first time since January, and he learns the nuances of the NFL game.
“I adapt,” said Barron. “I try to learn the game patterns, the concepts that the offensive now works at this level – a lot of different movements, a lot of different changes. So I adjust it and put it in my game.”
Bryant trying to cut a clean path
After the broncos selected the receiver of Illinois Pat Bryant in the third round, Payton offered an impressive comparison.
“There was so much about his game that reminded me (the former WR saints) Mike Thomas,” said head coach Sean Payton after the draft.
Asked about these comments on Saturday, Bryant said it was “great” to hear the comparison with a player like Thomas. He also declared, however, that he hoped to carve his own way.
“In the end, I try to control my own destiny,” said Bryant. “I try to be the best bruy bruyer I can be.”
Part of the version of itself includes the manufacture of disputed sockets, which it did impressively during a representative in Saturday training.
“When the ball is in the air, it’s mine,” said Bryant. “… These are the captures I have to make to succeed at this level.”
A year ago, the broncos faced low external expectations and took – and took up – the challenge. This year, the national account surrounding broncos is much more positive – and Payton said that the team would adopt these higher expectations. One of the first signs of these expectations could be delivered with the release of the Calendar on Wednesday, and Payton said that he expected to see more matches during great listening hours than the team did not play in 2024.
“This is part of the agreement, and you are comfortable doing so,” said Payton. “It’s much better than the alternative. This is what you want. This is one of the things that is attractive about training or play here, it’s the story. I think that if you are a competitor, it motivates you.”
… The Broncos had nearly 60 players to participate in the training on Saturday, including nearly 30 university trial players. Denver has a story of success with unlikely players, and Payton said that the Broncos would discuss the signing of “a couple” of the players who participated on Saturday for the training camp.
… Asked about the injury of the second Dre Greenlaw, Payton said that the veteran player was “on time” and will be a full -fledged participant in the arrival of the training camp.
