On Friday, Cassie Ventura ended her testimony against Sean “Diddy”, caping four days in detail of what she claimed to be coercive and humiliating sex by abandoning a new revelation.
The R&B singer – The star witness of the accusation – revealed on the stand during the combat sex traffic criminal trial that she should receive a several million dollars colony from the Intercontinental hotel in Century City, in Los Angeles.
“I think it was $ 10 million,” Ventura told a federal jury in Manhattan of the money she says of receiving from the hotel.
The Intercontinental is the place where the images of the security camera captured Ventura combing in a corridor in 2016, after the Ventura and Federal prosecutors said that it was one of the sex marathons fueled by combat drugs, which he called “Freak Offs”.
Used by defense lawyer Anna Estevao, Ventura told eight men of four women that she did not know the exact monetary figure, but described the regulations as an agreement concluded.
“And have you reached the end of discussions on the regulation with the Intercontinental?” Estevao asked Ventura to which she replied: “I have it.”
Hotel representatives refused to comment.
Apart from the court, Ventura’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, would not confirm the amount of the regulation, saying only: “the record is the record”.
During the Combs trial, which started earlier this week, the jury showed the 2016 images of combits attacking Ventura in the hotel corridor.
Prosecutor Emily Johnson declared in her opening statements that at the time, the hip-hop magnate had paid a security guard at the $ 100,000 hotel in a brown paper envelope in exchange for images.
Combs apologized for his actions in the video after CNN published the images last year.
The colony of the hotel is the second colony revealed by Ventura during its testimony. She also told the jurors that Combs paid him $ 20 million To settle his civil trial against him in 2023.
In the trial, Ventura accused combing rape, physical violence and controlling it during their relationship more than Decadelong. She also detailed the attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in Combs in the trial and declared in court documents that Combs paid $ 50,000 at the hotel for images.
On Friday, when he was questioned by Johnson, Ventura said that she would restore the $ 20 million if it never meant having joined Freak offs of Combs.
“If I had not done monsters, I would have had an agency and an autonomy,” she said. “I wouldn’t have had to work so hard to recover it.”
