Hampton, Virginie – Famous stuntman Rob Holland was killed when his MX Aircraft MXS plane crashed as the Langley Air Force base approaches Thursday morning, confirmed the official Holland Facebook page.
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) says that they “investigate the accident of an MXS MXS experimental plane”. Based on the initial rallies, the plane crashed while “as approaching” the base of Langley Air Force.

Langley Colonel updates the Mortal Basic Accident of Stunt Pilot
This accident occurred a few days before Biennial Air Power on Hampton Roads Air Show. Holland had recently played at 2023 Air Power Show and is a frequent view at Air Show events.
The officials said Thursday evening that they expected to continue with the air show.
Just after 4 pm, officials of the Langley-Eustis common base said they canceled media availability scheduled for Thursday afternoon with Air Force Thunderbirds pilots “due to unforeseen circumstances”.
The base confirmed the fatal accident at 11:39 a.m. and said it was linked to the air fair.

“Today, we have lost a friend of our Air Force family,” said Colonel Matthew Altman, joint commander of the Langley-Eustis base. “On behalf of our entire Jble team, I want to express our deepest sympathy to family and friends of this incredible aviator.”
An NTTSB investigator expects to arrive on Friday in Langley to start examining the cause of the accident.
