By presenting his “Carrefour 2026” plan in November, Alexandre Bompard, the CEO, announced that he wanted to achieve four billion euros in savings, in particular by simplifying the organization of headquarters on a European scale. The McKinsey firm is supporting the group to help it achieve this objective.

According to the information revealed by La Lettre A, “a thousand jobs are targeted on the France perimeter of the group alone”, which has headquarters in Massy (Essonne), Evry (Essonne) and Mondeville (Calvados). The main union bodies are expecting first meetings in the coming days.
