Carlos Santana hospitalized for “dehydration” in San Antonio; Tuesday’s show at Majestic Theater postponed

San Antonio – Carlos Santana, winner of a Grammy Award, was transported urgently to the hospital before he performed Tuesday evening in San Antonio.

Santana, 77, was to go on stage at 7:30 p.m. at the Majestic Theater Downtown.

In an article on social networks, the theater said that Santana suffered from “dehydration”.

“It is with a deep disappointment that I must inform you that this evening show in San Antonio was postponed. Mr. Santana was on the site (Majestic Theater) preparing for the show this evening when he experienced a determined event to be a dehydration,” said Santana manager, Michael Vrionis, in a press release.

The San Antonio fire service told Ksat that the first speakers were sent to the theater on Tuesday at 5 pm for a patient who “perhaps passed out”. Although SAFD did not disclose the name due to confidentiality laws, the patient was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

Vrionis also said that the majestic Santana theater show would be “reprogrammed soon”.

It is a story in development. Come back for more updates.
