Cardi B denies Offset reconciliation rumors after Christmas

Cardi B seemingly shut down rumors that she got back together with her husband, Offset, after the estranged couple reunited for Christmas with their children.

A viral tweet by @TheePopFeed claimed Wednesday, “Cardi B has officially taken over Offset after 12 days.”

A fan then responded with a clip of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kandi Burruss telling co-star Porsha Williams, “You just made that up.” »

Eagle-eyed fans noticed that the “Be Careful” rapper, 31, “liked” the video, all but confirming that the original tweet was incorrect.

“They don’t expect people who have kids together to co-parent,” one fan replied.

“Couldn’t she have gone alone and with Wave🙄,” another supporter asked.

“Y’all go hard on Cardi. Like this guy she’s having fun with. He’s her husband, the father of her children,” pointed out a third. “Let them handle their MARRIAGE. I know a lot of you don’t know how it goes, but people go through some shit, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be a united front for these children !”

Fans were convinced that Cardi and Offset had rekindled their relationship just weeks after their last breakup when the couple celebrated Christmas with their two children: Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2.

Cardi and the Migos member, 32, both posted videos on social media of their little ones opening presents, leading many followers to believe their marriage was back on.

“I thought it would be at least until 2024 before Cardi went back to Offset. Apparently I was wrong 😭💔,” one person tweeted.

“lol they fooled everyone,” a second person added.

“Was the whole breakup thing a lie?” 😤😳,” asked another.

However, several social media users pointed out that the couple was likely getting together over the holidays for the sake of their young children.

“Glad they can manage co-parenting without making a scandal.” Happy for their kids,” one fan gushed.

Cardi and Offset first sparked speculation about their breakup earlier this month when they unfollowed each other on social media. The “WAP” rapper confirmed their split days later.

At the time, rumors swirled that the “Walk It Talk It” MC had cheated on his wife with fellow rapper Chrisean Rock — which he denied.

Cardi admitted she didn’t know if the talk of infidelity was true, but said she wanted to leave her husband, whom she secretly married in September 2017.

“I want to start 2024 fresh, open. I am curious about a new life, a new beginning. I’m excited,” she said.

This isn’t the first time cheating rumors have rocked their marriage.

They briefly split in late 2020 amid speculation that Offset had been unfaithful on multiple occasions. However, Cardi forgave him and they got back together soon after.

Most recently, Offset accused Cardi of cheating on him last June. However, the “Hustlers” actress vehemently denied the claim.

Offset is also the father of three children from previous relationships: Jordan, 14, Kody, 8, and Kalea Marie, 8.
