Three weeks after revealing she wouldn’t return The Real Housewives of Potomac for season nine, the Bravo star announced that she and her husband Chris Bassett expecting their first baby together.
The “Drive Back” singer shared her exciting pregnancy news in an April 15 Instagram post alongside a stunning video in which the couple revealed their ultrasound.
“I’m about 13 weeks old,” Candiace said Entertainment tonight“so about the second quarter. It’s been weird, but also really wonderful, I think, keeping it to ourselves so far.”
After documenting their fertility journey on RHOPCandiace finally had one of her and Chris’ frozen embryos implanted in January.
“I kind of woke up and realized I would never be 100 percent ready,” the 37-year-old said. “I just had to trust the process and trust my doctors and stop being afraid and just do it. So once we decided together that we were going to do it – together – it was kind of a movement of faith from there.
