Canadian destroys luxury homes with excavator after being fired, then fined

Getting fired is the worst experience you can have. Many are those who are inspired by it and move forward in life while a few others take it to heart. A man from Canada, who was recently fired from his job, made sure his ex-employers knew how angry he was.

The annoyed ‘super’ man got revenge by using a shovel to destroy luxury homes at a popular marina in Canada. Footage of the same has surfaced online, showing someone using a massive excavator to destroy one of the beautiful lakeside properties in Calgary, Canada.

The video was shared on Twitter by Don Tapscott who captioned the post saying “You can’t make this up”. The video was filmed by local residents who witnessed the scene before police arrived on the scene.

“A disgruntled, fired employee of a marina near our lake house broke and destroyed the entire marina with an excavator,” reads the full post.

According The daily star, shortly after officers arrived, they arrested the 59-year-old man, who is confirmed to be a former employee of the property. The accused was also fined $3,906 (approximately Rs 2.38,758).

Property owner Geordie Newlands claimed he was aware of the incident and also confirmed that more than one building in the area was damaged by the accused.

Talk to local media – Calgary Herald, Newlands further stated that “fortunately no one was hurt, which is a good thing”. He further stated that such an incident is almost surreal.

Since uploading on July 28, the video has racked up over 274,000 views and over 5,000 likes. One of the users wrote, “Finally the working class is starting to rise,” another quipped, “I heard he was a ten-foot-tall invisible ghost.”
