New Delhi: While the world is crying for the deaths of 28 people killed in the horrible terrorist attack on the Pahalgam of Jammu and Kashmir, Canada has not yet officially condemned or published on the bloody attack.
Ottawa, who had diplomatic entries with New Delhi, remains a mother even when India’s geopolitical rivals such as Turkey, China and Pakistan have condemned the attack. The attack was condemned by the Taliban and Iran.
Although there have been no official words from the Canadian government, the head of the Canada opposition, Pierre Poilievre, called the horrible terrorist attack.
“I condemn in the strongest terms of the horrible terrorist attack of Jammu-et-Cachemire which took the life of innocent civilians, including tourists and families. Our hearts are with the victims, their loved ones and all those affected. Canada is united against terror in all its forms,” wrote Hairyre on X.
A few hours after the attack, American president Donald Trump firmly condemned the attack and assured his support for India and said that “Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India have our full support and our deepest sympathies”.
“The deeply disturbing news of cashmere. The United States is strong with India against terrorism. We pray for souls lost people, and for the restoration of the wounded. Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India, have our full support and our deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with all of you!” He said in an article on Truth Social.
A group of terrorists on Tuesday afternoon has shot down male tourists who are unleashed around restaurants, making pony walks or picnic with their families in the meadow like “Mini Switzerland” for its serene beauty.
Security agencies have published sketches of three men suspected of being involved in the horrible attack. The trio, identified as Pakistanis, are Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah and Abu Talha, said officials.
The sketches were prepared using the description of the attackers by the survivors, they said. The resistance front (TRF), a shadow outfit of the terrorist group Lashkar-E-Taiba, based in Pakistan, claimed the responsibility of the attack.
