Canada Carney puts prices on cars made in the United States while the Stellantis plant takes a production break

Prime Minister Mark Carney said Canada had introduced a 25% tariff on cars and trucks made in the United States in retaliation for prices that entered the Canadian vehicles on Thursday morning.

Canada’s prices said Carney, excluded automotive parts, and the country would always allow companies that made cars in Canada – Stellantis, Ford, General Motors, Honda and Toyota – import vehicles built in the United States without paying prices.
