Can Fin Homes announced on Saturday the appointment of Suresh Srinivasan Iyer as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect. The company said in a filing exchange that Iyer’s term is for three years, which can be further extended by two years.
The former managing director and CEO of Can Fin, Girish Kousgi, tendered his resignation in September last year.
The company said in its exchange filing that Iyer had been named as key management personnel.
Iyer started his career at Gruh Finance in 1997. In February 2021, Iyer took over from Sudhin Choksey as head of the housing finance vertical at Bandhan Bank. He held several positions and different functions, namely sales, operations, IT strategy, policy and pricing, risk, recovery, legal, etc. He has risen through the ranks over the years with successful contribution in all roles and functions, the company added.
