Caitlin Clark ‘has the worst teammates in the WNBA’, angry fans claim as clips emerge of them dropping easy passes in loss to Angel Reese’s Chicago Sky

Caitlin Clark’s teammates were criticized again following the Indiana Fever’s loss to the Chicago Sky on Sunday night.

Christie Sides’ players were criticized by many after a previous meeting between the two teams, when Clark – the No. 1 overall pick – was groundchecked by Chennedy Carter.

Clark’s teammates were criticized for not doing more to protect their star player. Now, after Sunday’s defeat to Sky, they are being criticized for their inability to sustain it with the ball.

Several clips have flooded social media, showing players dropping simple passes and missing lay-ups.

“Not gonna lie, Caitlin Clark might have some of the worst teammates in the WNBA,” one fan wrote.

‘Caitlin Clark with seven assists at halftime. It’s crazy to think how many she would have if her teammates could finish,” added another.

Clark is currently averaging 5.6 turnovers per game in her first season in the WNBA. That’s 1.7 more than anyone else, but some fans insist it’s not his fault.

“Clark’s teammates can’t catch, that’s why she leads the WNBA in turnovers,” one fan wrote. “Her teammates literally can’t catch the simplest pass,” added another.

After the match, Clark was asked if she would have liked to shoot later in Sunday’s game.

“I mean, sure, you can wish so. I’m sure I had one or two chances to take another shot at the end, but I trust my teammates…I’m going to give them the ball every time,” she said.

Incredibly, the No. 1 overall draft pick only made two shots in the final seven minutes, despite being one of the greatest shooters in women’s basketball.

She also appeared to have a disagreement with Indiana Fever coach Sides in the final stages of the Defeat 88-87.

In a clip circulating on social media, Clark can be seen making angry gestures while speaking with Sides, before the Fever coach responds to his complaints.
