BTS’ RM Sparks Speculation About His Dating Life With ‘Right Place, Wrong Person’ Lyrics

“Yes, it’s probably a romantic relationship.”

On May 24, BTSIt is RM released his second solo album, Right place, wrong person. The album contains 11 tracks, including the first single “LOST!” and the pre-release track “Come Back To Me”, and RM participated in the writing and production of most of the songs.

In this album, RM paints a portrait of universal emotions that everyone might have encountered at least once in their life, delivering a message that resonates with those who strive to find answers to these emotions.

Although it’s only been out a short time, fans are already praising RM’s lyricism and musicality, especially since the album seems so personal and emotional for the BTS member. One conversation that was sparked by some of the lyrics concerns RM’s love life and whether or not it played a role in his creative process.

The lyrics of the B-side track “Nuts” are the ones in question.

Reading the lyrics, it’s easy to see how many people interpret it as RM talking about someone he had a relationship with in the past, and if that’s the case, it seems to be tempestuous.

Since you left, I finally feel alive
Every night I write letters to my past
With just one glass of whiskey all the memories come flooding back, praying to a god I don’t even believe in
So you can stop being my everything in your twenties
I will sincerely wish you happiness, even if you probably won’t believe me
It was a difficult relationship, there’s a stigma on my chest
It’s called you, I can’t even believe we were together
It was a flu, and you could see the karma passing
The monster wasn’t me, I’m begging you, oh, baby, please
I wish you forever, ever, true happiness, damn

Despite the tragic lyrics, fans are never disappointed with how poetically and beautifully RM expresses himself, whether he is speaking in Korean or English.

l2

She’s a professional rider, hoo, hoo, hoo, hoo, rider
Must be an A1 guide, always throws a f**king slider
When it comes to love, she could pull an all-nighter
Best gaslighter, no man can ever fight her
I’m going crazy, how do I put it all together now?
How come you have nothing left to offer?
You’re freaking me out, I’m freaking me out, I’m begging you, baby, please
A life of nonsense, love is just for monsters

The lyrics to “Nuts” led to a conversation on an online forum about RM’s potential dating history. Many already thought that the BTS member went through a tough breakup over the past couple of years, so they’re not too surprised by the lyrics. Others simply think, based on RM’s words and age alone, that it’s pretty much a given that he’s been in some sort of relationship at some point, whether now or in the past.
