Fans of Bruce Springsteen had a special surprise when Sir Paul McCartney joined him for a duo at the Anfield stadium in Liverpool.
The former beatle was released on stage on Saturday during the 75 -year -old singer’s concert in the city with his street group E as part of his Land of Hope and Dreams tour.
Springsteen, a longtime Beatles fan, presented Roking crowds to Sir Paul during his recall.
Sebastian Ayling, who was in the crowd, said it was a “privilege” to see the duo happening.
“Last night was biblical,” he said.
“Bruce and the group were on fire and saw Sir Paul was such a privilege.”
The performance was the first of Sir Paul in his hometown since his 2018 refresh show and also his first appearance on the scene of Anfield since the celebration of the European Capital of Culture by the City in 2008.
The pair shared a hug on stage as they sang a duo of the Beatles song, Can’t Buy Me Love.
Shared images on social networks have shown that Sir Paul, 82, addressing the crowd after performance, would have said: “Thank you, Scousers.”
Another fan, Ross, said that the whole show was “incredible”.
Before the concert, speculation went up to know if Springsteen, called the boss by the fans, would bring Sir Paul on stage after they both appeared in the city earlier.
Friday, the pair made a surprise visit to the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (Lipa), which McCartney co -founded.
Lipa said it was a “really incredible day”, artists taking the time to talk to students and share their experiences.
“Thanks to Bruce Springsteen for sharing such rich information with our students,” said a spokesperson.
“And thank you, as always, to Paul McCartney for his generosity and his passion when he presented Bruce to Lipa.”
McCartney brought the singer born in the United States on stage When he titled the pyramid scene in Glastonbury in 2022.

In 2012, Sir Paul joined Springsteen on stage at the end of the singer’s slit at Hard Rock calling for Hyde Park, London, but the two stars found their microphones cut before they could address the crowd after exceeding the curfew.
From his career in the 1960s, Springsteen continued to have 12 albums from the top 10 of the United Kingdom and four singles of the British top 10 and is best known for songs such as Born in the United States, Dancing in the Dark and Born to Run.
Fans from around the world went down to Liverpool for shows.
The second on June 7 is the last date of the United Kingdom on the Land of Hope and Dreams tour while it passes to the Berlin Olympiastadion in Germany on June 11.
Prague, Frankfurt, San Sebastian and Gelsenkirchen, are among the other cities to play to play on the tour before ending in Milan on July 3.
