Browns set to host home game in London for 2025 season

The Browns are traveling across the pond in 2025 to London.

The NFL announced the Browns as one of the three designated home teams to play one of their nine home games in London during the 2025 season. The Jets and Jaguars will also each host a game.

The Browns will face their opponent at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the only purpose-built NFL stadium outside of the U.S. Official reveal of their opponent and which week set to come in the Spring of 2025 when the NFL announces the 2025 season schedule.

“We’re thrilled to be named a designated team for the 2025 NFL London Games, making our second international trip as a club and our first time playing at the incredible Tottenham Hotspur Stadium,” Haslam Sports Group COO David Jenkins said. “We look forward to playing in front of our fans in the U.K. this upcoming season and to help continue to grow both the Browns and the NFL’s global popularity.”

The Browns last played an international game in 2017 as part of the 2017 London Games. They played at Twickenham Stadium against the Vikings and lost 33-16 to Minnesota. It was their lone appearance in an international game since the NFL expanded to playing a regular-season international game in 2005.

The NFL launched the NFL International Series in 2007, which featured regular-season games played outside the United States. The success of the London games in 2007 prompted the NFL to schedule regular-season games in the United Kingdom annually. The series has expanded over the years, as games are now played in venues like Wembley Stadium, Twickenham Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Beginning in 2025, the NFL can schedule up to eight league-operated regular season games internationally. The NFL will also play regular season games in Madrid, Spain at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home to Real Madrid C.F., and in Berlin, Germany at the Olympic Stadium.
