Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, would have been removed from the Met 2025 gala after the family drama at the 50th anniversary party of David Beckham on Saturday evening.
According to an initiate close to Brooklyn and Peltz, the couple decided to cancel their plans on Monday so that they can stay in London to celebrate the big day of the legend of football on weekends.
Instead, they did not attend any of the two events.
“They canceled the intention to attend the MET because they really intended to be at David’s party on Saturday,” said a source to the US Sun. “But Brooklyn is really upset that the blame for the rift was leveled to Nicola.”
“She never told him what to do and was just support,” added the initiate. “She is a faithful wife.”
However, a source indicates on page six that the couple was never invited to the Met Gala and did not intend to attend.
The Beckham family quarrel started after Brooklyn would have told her father that he would not participate in any birthday celebration if the girlfriend of Romeo Beckham, Kim Turnbull, was also there, according to TMZ.
David and Victoria Beckham would have refused.
Although Brooklyn, 26, and Peltz, 30, have always stolen from Los Angeles in London to try to see the former football star in private for his birthday, David apparently insisted that they attend his star Bash at the Notting Hill restaurant on Saturday evening.
“Brooklyn flew to London with the sole intention of seeing his family and celebrating his father’s birthday,” said a source close to Brooklyn. “He suggested going for breakfast or a coffee, but he was told that the only chance to see the family would be at one of their sumptuous evenings, to which Kim would be – then he refused.”
“As far as he sees it,” added the source, “his parents chose Romeo and his new girlfriend about him.”
However, an initiate close to the Beckham family said that the drama had “nothing to do” with Romeo and Turnbull, 24.
“It seems very performative,” insisted the initiate. “Brooklyn sent an SMS, but it was like a boot, knowing that they would be questioned about it.”
The position contacted the representatives of Brooklyn and Peltz to comment.
Romeo, 22, began to see Turnbull in 2024, and the couple confirmed their relationship in November.
Brooklyn and Peltz, meanwhile, married in April 2022.
Brooklyn and Nicola “no longer go to family events (Beckham),” said a source on page six.
“In some respects, it is not a surprise, but I suppose that no one might think that they would snub David’s 50th when there were so many events that they could have gone or ways to spend time with the family,” the initiate told the point of sale.
“Their behavior was appalling,” they added.
However, “Brooklyn’s family loves him and will still be there for him. They can no longer face this nonsense, ”insisted the source. “David and Victoria just want Brooklyn to remember who he is because this behavior is not him and is not how he was raised.”
The young couple has not been represented with their famous Beckham family since Christmas.
