Brooke Shields has learned a few tips over the years when it comes to going out together, and she transmits her wisdom to her daughters. Although his advice is not the most conventional, it’s really funny.
THE Blue lagoon Star joined Swarovski in their flagship store in New York last night for a panel on fashionable sustainability. In addition to talking about gems, jewelry and crystals, she shared advice on strategic relationships.

“I say that to my daughter:” If you want something from your boyfriend or if you want to do something or go to a certain restaurant, make her idea “”, she said with a smile, causing a laughing of the public. “She says:” It is not at all feminist! “I was like” it is actually the most feminist thing you could imagine.
Shields is a proud mother of two children to graze, 18, and Rowan, 21, whom she shares with her husband, Chris Henchy.

The wisdom nugget of the model came from the conversation on how to bring the fashion industry and consumers to adopt more sustainable practices. Shields thinks that a way of doing so is to send subliminal messages. She gives the example of how she intends to include a scene from her using a compost bucket in her new show. The luxury jewelry brand has done this by launching recreated crystals, which are mounted on a recycled metal base and are available in recycled paper packaging.
“What I like in fashion is because they always maintain their creativity and always maintain their art, but they do so in a way that combines them and sometimes it is subliminal,” said Shields. “I think we have to go under the skin of people so that they have the impression of making their decision … We have to change the story, the way we talk about it because it is not a question of shaping people, it is a question of inspiring them.”

For the event, entitled “Unlock creativity as a force for good”, Shields was joined by Melissa Fleming, general under-secretary of world communications at the United Nations, and Jakhya Rahman-Corey, director of the Swarovski Foundation. The brand launched a pin with crystals in partnership with the intergovernmental organization; 85 percent of the purchase price of the pins will be given to the causes linked to the durability development objectives.
The starter of the start was, of course, dripping with Swarovski jewelry for the occasion. The shields arrived with a stack of translucent green and pink bracelets, a matching ring, a necklace of neck and earrings, all fixed with a shiny crystal. She leaned over the pink theme with a sleeveless chronicle dress which had a cut just under her bust, Peep Mules with assorted Peep, a silver studded pocket and tinted shades. She finished her fabulous look with cowardly loops and a pink glam.
