The British royal family is PAID!!!
In 2025, the amount of money that King Charles and its crew are expected to receive substantial growth from the British Treasury, according to reports. Next April, by People and others, British public funds will return more than $165 million (or approximately £132 million) to the royal family through the Sovereign subsidy. This grant is the annual amount that the British Treasury must pay to the royal family – and it’s still a significant amount.
However!!! This year, not only is that an insane amount of money in itself, but it also represents a $56 million increase over last year’s salary!!!
That’s a HUGE pay increase – just over 33 percent, in fact! And it’s causing a lot of concern from British taxpayers and other worried observers of the UK’s financial situation.

Talk to Town and country, Republic CEO Graham Smith criticized King Charles’s huge pay rise, Prince Williamand the rest of the royal family:
“It’s public money, all this money comes from the government, at a time when the government is not able to properly fund schools, hospitals, the police. It’s scandalous. Not only should it not increase at all, but rather it should decrease. »

For information, in 2024, the palace announced that a large part of the money sent via the sovereign grant would be intended for ongoing renovations at the Buckingham Palace. These renovations are expected to be completed in 2027. And obviously, Buckingham Palace is one of the most notable tourist destinations in the world, so we understand that this is extremely important to the royal family. And the UK economy.
But still…that’s quite a pay raise for a monarchy already stuffed to the gills with money. You know ?!
