Shannon Kobylarczyk, the Milwaukee Brewers fan who threatened to call U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) about Ricardo Fosado, a Latino Los Angeles Dodgers fan, earlier this week, has been banned from the stadium where the incident occurred. She also lost both of her jobs.
The Milwaukee Brewers told Yahoo in a statement Thursday: “The Brewers expect all people attending games to be respectful of each other, and we do not in any way tolerate offensive statements that fans make about race, gender or national origin. Our priority is to ensure that all attendees have a safe and enjoyable experience at the stadium.”
“In this case, the Milwaukee Police Department dealt with the individual who was ejected for actions other than the events depicted in this video, including disorderly conduct and public intoxication,” the team said, referring to Fosado. “Additionally, video shows that the other person involved in the argument became physical during their interactions with the person who was kicked out.”
Both Kobylarczyk and Fosado were banned from American Family Field in Milwaukee.
“For these reasons and in accordance with our guest code of conduct specific to expulsions and physical confrontations, both fans are informed that they are not permitted to return to the stadium for future events,” the team concluded.
Kobylarczyk’s two former employers also confirmed to Yahoo on Thursday that she had been fired following the incident, which was recorded and then widely shared on social media.
Kobylarczyk worked as an attorney at ManpowerGroup, a Milwaukee-based recruiting agency.
“As soon as we became aware of this video, the individual was placed on immediate leave and we initiated an investigation. As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization. We remain committed to maintaining a culture based on respect, integrity and accountability,” a ManpowerGroup representative told Yahoo.
She also served as a board member for the Milwaukee chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
“Shannon Kobylarczyk resigned from the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin Board of Directors on Wednesday, October 15, effective immediately. Make-A-Wish Wisconsin does not tolerate or accept Kobylarczyk’s words and actions,” a representative for the nonprofit told Yahoo.

The woman was nicknamed “Brewers Karen” online. The incident comes a month after a woman, known as “Phillies Karen,” chastised a father for giving her a home run he caught for his son during a Philadelphia Phillies game against the Miami Marlins.
The event in question occurred during a playoff game between the Dodgers and Brewers at American Family Field on Tuesday evening. Kobylarczyk and Fosado, a U.S. Navy veteran, were present. The footage recorded by Fosado showed a group of Brewers fans suddenly falling silent after their team lost the lead and the Dodgers took the lead in the game.
In the viral video, Fosado, as he looks at Brewers fans in his section, can be heard saying, “Why is everyone quiet?”
Kobylarczyk looks directly at Fosado and shouts, “Real men drink beer, d***!” She is then seen patting a man in front of her, before suggesting: “You know what, let’s call ICE.”
Fosado challenges Kobylarczyk, telling him: “Call ICE. Call ICE. I’m an American citizen. Veteran, little girl. Veteran, two wars. ICE won’t do anything to me. Good luck.”
Kobylarczyk reported Fosado to stadium security, and Fosado and a friend with whom he attended the game were escorted out of the building. Fosado told Fox 11 Los Angeles that the only reason security gave for kicking them out of the game was because they were Dodgers fans.
Fosado, according to his LinkedIn profile, is a small business owner and CEO of Foxtrot Construction in Chino Hills, California. Her video of the interaction went viral on social media. Although his personal accounts have since become private, the images were screen recorded and continue to circulate online.
Yahoo reached out to Fosado for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
Since learning that Kobylarczyk was fired from both of her jobs following the viral incident, Fosado has felt empathy toward her. Fosado told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Kobylarczyk’s behavior, which he said was fueled by alcohol, should not necessarily have cost him his job.
“I don’t think it was horrible or something that should have gotten her fired. I feel bad for her,” he said. “We can’t be judged on one mistake, and a lot of emotions were involved. It was just hurt feelings, no one physically hurt anyone.”
The interaction between Kobylarczyk and Fosado comes amid growing tensions in the United States due to ongoing immigration enforcement operations by the Trump administration.
