Cincinnati – – Andruw Monasterio struck a three -point home run in the 11th round and the Brewers of Milwaukee won their 14th consecutive franchise match, 6-5 on the Reds of Cincinnati on Saturday evening.
It was the 13th consecutive series defeat for the Reds against the Brewers.
Elly de la Cruz scored on a sacrificial fly in the 11th and Noelvi Marte struck a solo home run to bring the match in one. Matt Mclain struck Deep to Center Field, but Brandon Lock grab him for the final.
Ke’bryan Hayes and Spencer Steer each had solo circuits in the sixth to get 2-1 for the Reds.
William Contreras struck a simple towards the left field of the Jake Fraley Reds to start the 10th round, which swept the ball and fell. Automatic runner Anthony Seigler scored and Fraley was replaced in the left field by Santiago Espinal.
Trevor Megill (4-2) granted a point and a blow, removing two in 10th. Nick Mears obtained his first stop for the season.
The left-hander of the Reds Joe La Sorsa (0-1) granted three points and three strokes.
Two runners have advanced on wild land by the LEVER of the Graham Ashcraft Reds in seventh round. Sal Frelick broke his bat and put himself to the ground to keep the Reds 2-1.
Miguel Andujar of Reds recorded two strokes to extend his eight -game strikes sequence.
The Reds LHP Andrew Abbott (8-3, 2.41 ERA) will face the LHP Jose Quintana brewers (10-4, 3.44) in the final of the series on Sunday.
