A takeaway breakfast product has been recalled at a major supermarket due to an allergy concern.
Frisp 150g Oat Peanut Butter was recalled from all Woolworths stores nationwide on Monday after it was discovered the packaging did not contain a warning that the product contained a milk allergen.
Although the product label states that the oats are “soaked in plant-based milk” and the ingredient list includes coconut milk, which is considered dairy and lactose-free, the recall was nonetheless issued.

The Australian and New Zealand Food Standards said consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance could have a reaction if they consumed it.
Customers can determine if they have purchased any of the affected products by checking the expiration date of January 14, 2026.
They warn anyone with a milk allergy not to consume the product and to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
Any consumer concerned about their health should consult a doctor.
