Sao Paulo (AP) – Two Brazilian nuns became viral after dropping a Beatbox and impromptu dance session during a Catholic television program.
The sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula, members of the congregation “Copiosa Revenção”, spoke of a professional retreat on Pai Eterno du Brazil – Eternal Channel – TV Channel when they mentioned a song about being Called to religious life.
The duo got up and embarked on a routine with singing, beatbox and dance movements. Then, the presenter, the deacon Giovani Bastos, joined Paula’s sister movements in a performance that has now been seen by millions on social networks in Brazil and abroad.
“This moment was very spontaneous, because with Sister Marisa, if you start a beat, she will dance. While Sister Marisa has no Instagram account, her sister Marizele exceeded 100,000 subscribers since her beatboxing became viral.
The sisters also work as a vocation promoters, organizing pensions for women interested in pursuing a religious career.
