Before this evening’s match against the Philadelphia Phillies, the Braves of Atlanta provided updates on a handful of players whose impact on the Grande League team could start next week.
The manager of the Braves, Brian Snitker, provided updates to journalists who injured the launcher from the Braves, Spencer Strider, will be evaluated after the dominant start today with the Gwinnett Stripers and could join the team and make his seasonal debut next week.
Strider, who withdrew 13 strikers in 90 Triple -A throws today, would strengthen a rotation that lost Reynaldo Lopez until the least – and perhaps for the season – after having undergone a shoulder procedure.
Acuña, Jr., who recovers from the knee surgery of last season, should go to Los Angeles next week to meet his surgeon. If everything goes well, it should be allowed to start the full training, including field exercises and cutting it. The calendar of his return is not yet known, but it has been largely supposed that he could come back by the end of May.
Kibrel, who dwell on the market of free agents until the signing of a minor league contract with the brave at the end of spring training, still works in Florida. He should make his way in the minor leagues and could join Atlanta – if he is effective – at some point in May.
Craig Kibrel accelerates in Florida but has not yet faced the strikers according to #Braves Manager Brian Snitker.
Once he did this, expect Kimbs to make his way in the minor leagues with a probable arrival in Atlanta during the month of May if everything goes well and that he is effective.

The brave continues to tinker with their enclosure of lifts after having failed to sign a free agent with a strong impact on a major league contact during the season outside season. The team signed then DFA’d Hector Neris, did the same with Jesse Chavez – who returned to the organization of Triple -A – and chose the LEVER of the Astros of Houston Rafael Montero in a job earlier this week.
An effective Krimrel could be makeup for the loss of the Joe Jimenez lifter, who will miss most of this season by recovering from a knee injury.
