Brandon Williams admitted to a Candide interview with the former goalkeeper of Manchester United, Ben Foster, whom he has trouble looking at football after being released by the Red Devils last summer.
Williams burst into the stage in adolescence at Old Trafford after receiving his debut with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2019, but injuries and loss of form led him to be loaned to Norwich and Ipswich before leaving his childhood club in 2024.
The 24 -year -old is now faced with a potential two -year prison sentence after pleading guilty to dangerous driving last week.
Williams crushed his car at 99 MPH ‘with a ball in his mouth’ when he was accompanied by a young woman in August 2023, and was sentenced on May 9.
Before his hearing date, Williams explained how he had trouble facing after being recovered by another club.
Speaking on The Foster of Foster, who will be released in whole Thursday, Williams explained: “It hurts to look at football now because I just want to be there, I just want to play, I want to be in a team, on the coach, I just think that it is that it becomes too much for someone.”

Williams has not played a competition match since December 29, 2023. He was excluded from the Ipswich match team for the second half of last season when they obtained a promotion at the Premier League, then did not succeed in a new contract in United.
More than nine months after leaving United, Williams is still without a club, but he suggested that the break could benefit from him in the long term after having hinted that he fell in love with football in recent years.
“Maybe I needed this break, just like taking everything to reset,” he added.
Williams was once plunged for fame, with the legend of United, Gary Neville, greeting his attitude during his revolutionary season.
After Williams played in the victory of United 1-0 FA Cup against the Wolves in January 2020, Neville wrote on Twitter: “ I like Brandon Williams. What I like in particular is that he has that look in his eye of someone who would eat the nose of his opponents to win the match. Continue Kid! Oh, he can also play football, which is always a bonus.
Williams started in the second half of the season, keeping the Luke Shaw much more experienced on the team while Solskjaer made him feel in him.
The boss of England of the time, Gareth Southgate, did not take long to sit and take note of it, because he would have watched Williams for a potential place in his team of euros the following year.

Williams was apparently not impressed by the realization of the City of the feat 24 years after United, because he published on his Instagram history: “No one wants second botched”.
He then targeted Ferdinand after having felt that former defender United had too congratulated City, writing: ‘@ rioferdy5 pater that you do not congratulate if you were (sic) the player Keeep (sic) the same moral. (Snoozing Face Emoji) You (sic) The face is boring.
Williams did not play again for United after calling Ferdinand, and he is now faced with a worried wait to see if he will be sent to prison next month.
