A body was found with an apparent ball injury to the head near Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego on Wednesday, the authorities announced.
The agents responded around 1:30 am to a report of gunshots after a passer -by reported the disruption to a security guard in the region, according to the San Diego police department.
Harbor police first discovered the body of a male victim in an unspecified location, officials said. Further information on the victim was not immediately available.
Police officials were investigating the scene. The San Diego County Legalist’s office was also called to help identify the victim.
A suspicious description was not immediately available.
