The former AFL star who became Radio ABC host, Bob Murphy, made creeping apologies for insinuating that his co-host worked once in a strip club-only to serve his return with a very frank and icy reaction, said: “It is not ok.”
Murphy made the shocking comment on Wednesday the payment of the Melbourne breakfast program from the broadcaster.
He and the co-host of Sharllelle Vella Interview Elinor Kasapidis of Certified Prating Accountants Australia to obtain the right financial advice when Vella said: “ I remember when I worked in the retail trade there are several moons when I was still in high school … ”
Murphy quickly interrupted: “Not at Spearmint Rhino?” Referring to a well-known strip club.
Former Western Bulldogs star started the program on Thursday trying to extend a branch of Olivier to Vella.
“I think it would be relevant from my point of view to start with a few news that came out of this studio,” he started.

Murphy admitted that he had broken a promise he made in Vella with the terrible remark
“For those of you who listened to the series yesterday, or who woke up a story in the newspaper which refers to an inappropriate comment that I made yesterday, I think I must remedy it publicly to apologize.
“I did this insinuated my colleague and co-host of Sharnelle here worked at Spearmint Rhino, a well-known strip club.
“Cutting right at point, it was not only an error, it was a offbeat and inaccurate joke.
“I promised Sharllelle never to lack respect and I broke this promise.
“In simple terms, I’m really sorry.
Vella’s response was stony and very frank.
“Look, I won’t let you get it on it.” It was not ok, ”she said.
“I appreciate your words, but we continue.

Murphy and Vella slipped badly in the notes this year
Daily Mail Australia approached the ABC for comments and does not insin that Vella has ever worked in a strip club.
Murphy, who was a highly respected football player and twice All-Australian, had a bumpy start of the new role, with the breakfast notes on the one hand audience of 7.9% to 6.3% in March.
Another drop to only 5.6% followed in April.
Earlier this year, the 42 -year -old Bulldogs Great were criticized by the presenter of Radio Rival Tom Elliott for having been “ awakened ” after using the term “ aflm ” to describe the Australian High Australian football competition.

Murphy has thought about the controversy in an episode of ABC’s “oven corners” podcast.
He said he was “disgusted”, “embarrassed” and “injured” by the comments of Akermanis.
Akermanis then supported his comment, marking Murphy a “sook” and a “complete myth”.
In the history of Australian Football League, no player has ever openly gay.
Murphy, on the other hand, said that any player to do so would be supported by the players and the AFL in an impassed statement.
“You will be fought and supported,” said the former Bulldogs captain.
“If there is a dissident voice, they will be told to close the F *** up or to go out.”
