According to ABC 7Kelley dropped her grandmother, Dalyce Curry, off at home around midnight Tuesday after a full day at the hospital. At the time, she was going to take care of other family members.
Kelley was awakened by a message that the power had gone out in Curry’s house. That’s when Kelley went to her great-grandmother’s home, where a police officer informed her that Curry’s house was completely burned to the ground.
Curry had not been seen since that night and Kelley was unable to find her at the Pasadena Civic Center, which houses displaced people. Kelley then reached out to the public for help finding her great-grandmother in a Facebook post last Wednesday.
