Blood leaks from a truck at the Fresno airport: where did it come from?

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A white truck parked at Fresno Yosemite International Airport with what appeared to be blood dripping from the bed has sparked a viral response on social media.

The blood that leaked from the truck sparked speculation and controversy, leading some to believe the truck was potentially a crime scene.

What is the history of the Fresno Airport?

Officials with Fresno Yosemite International denied that theory, but confirmed it was blood leaking from the bed of the truck.

This truck was checked and it was determined to be an animal that died during a hunting trip in the truck bed. The passenger who had already left for a flight was informed and asked a family member to remove the truck from the parking lot.

This airport statement received by YourCentralValley.com was later revised to establish that the deceased animal in the truck was not from a hunting trip “rather that the individual with the truck was raising pigs and the animal came from the farm.

According to airport officials, the passenger’s family never went to the airport to pick up the truck. Officials with Fresno Yosemite International said they had the vehicle towed Saturday.
