DAYTON, Ohio – The Community Blood Center is in critical need of type O and B negative blood. Help avoid this shortage during the busiest time of the holiday season when you donate to the Blanchester Community Blood Drive on Thursday, December 22 from 2:30-6:30 p.m. at Blanchester’s Church of Christ, 911 Cherry St.
Anyone who signs up to donate Dec. 19-31 at any CBC blood drive or the Dayton CBC Donation Center is automatically entered into the draw to win two tickets to the Jan. 27 performance of “Les Miserables. at Dayton’s Schuster Center. All donors also receive the knitted blood donor cap.

Blood Donation Requirements: Donors are required to provide photo ID that includes their full name. Former CBC donors are also asked to bring their CBC donor ID card. Donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental consent: form available at www.givingblood.org or at Dayton CBC and Mobile Blood Drives), weigh at least 110 pounds (you may need to weigh more according to your height), and be in good physical health.
