Terrifying footage has emerged of the moment a trader beat a man with a spirit level in a savage road rage attack in front of schoolchildren.
The road rage incident was filmed by students caught on a school bus in Bli Bli, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, on April 19.
Footage circulating on social media showed a man rummaging through his car before grabbing the spirit level and chasing a man.
The tradie was seen running barefoot when a nearby driver tried to intervene, but his calls went unheeded as the tradie continued towards his target.
A man wearing a colorful t-shirt walked around a parked car to try to outrun his attacker before he tripped and fell to the ground.

The furious tradie then raised the spirit level above his head before bringing it down on the fallen man.
He punched him several times before nearby residents stepped in to intervene.
The students on the bus began to scream in horror at what they had just seen on their way home from school.
One child could be heard repeatedly saying, “I’m scared.”
The video was shared on Instagram with the caption: “Road Rage in Bli Bli this afternoon!! A guy gets whipped with a spirit level.
Social media users were disgusted by the behavior displayed.
The man used the spirit level as a weapon and pinned the other man to the ground.
“This is horrible,” one wrote.
“I hope scared and upset children get the support they need,” said another.
Queensland Police are investigating the incident.
At this point, no charges have been filed.
