
A longtime LoDo staple will soon close its doors less than a month after celebrating 20 years in business.
Blake Street Tavern, a popular sports bar and a favorite Colorado Rockies opening day spot, is set to close after a final day of business on April 9, general manager Shelley Majeres said in an email on Saturday. .
“We are saddened by this turn of events and delighted with the support of our many regulars and friends,” said Majeres, the tavern’s manager for 17 years. “It really is the end of an era for many of us who have made lifelong friendships here.
