Black Ops 6 Adds Long-Requested Feature to Its Zombies Mode

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 brings back the classic multi-part Zombies mode, something players have been waiting for for some time now. It also adds a host of new features, including the ability to pause a single-player Zombies game and resume it later.

Activision’s next big entry in its Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, will launch in October and will of course feature a full multiplayer mode and a single-player campaign. The game’s omnidirectional movement system It looks awesome and impressive, and it will be the first one Cod The game will be launching on Game Pass since Microsoft bought Activision. But many players aren’t excited about all that. Instead, they’re excited about the game’s Zombies mode, as the developers behind that entry, Treyarch, are the original studio behind Zombies in Call of Duty and a lot of people were curious to see what the team had been working on. Turns out it’s a lot of good stuff.

On August 8, after some teasing, Treyarch has offered an in-depth study Check out its upcoming Zombies mode, featuring the new “Terminus” map and a host of new features and options. Plus, a brand new trailer.

Activision / Treyarch

One of the the biggest news Treyarch’s turn-based Zombies mode has been added: it is now possible to pause during solo games and return to your game later. This will allow players who might be tired or need to eat something to stop and save their progress, and come back to continue their game when they are ready.

While some players were concerned that this would make it too easy to get to higher levels, others pointed out that it would still require a lot of skill, it’s just that now you can actually go to bed at 2am instead of working all night on a good run.

Another cool feature added this year Cod Zombies mode lets your friends join your co-op game while it’s in progress. Maybe you’re playing with a friend but they have to leave or their internet connection goes down. Well, now you can invite another friend to join your game and help you out without having to restart the game. (This mode is only available in co-op games, so a solo player can’t reach round 100, take a break, and call friends to help you out later.)

Treyarch also wants more players to participate in the main quests of this year’s Zombies mode. In the past, the main quests have been very difficult to complete, often involving various steps that were neither announced nor explained to the player. This time around, Treyarch to Offer ‘Guided’ Option so casual or new players can see what to do next to complete a map’s main quest.

But don’t worry, Guided Mode won’t be available right away. Treyarch says it will be added later, so the community can still figure out how to complete main quests and all the secrets in a map.

There’s still a lot to learn from Treyarch’s impressive blog post on its Zombies mode, including changes to weapon upgrades, gear, economic adjustments, and more. Much of the content of the blog is beyond me, as I haven’t played Zombies in Black Ops 3but I admit I’m more excited to check BLOPS6The undead action thanks to some of these smart changes that will make the game a little easier and more user-friendly.

Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 25. It’s coming to Game Pass on day one.
