So much for a safe haven? Or store of value?
Bitcoin price is trading below the $64,000 level again. The lowest price of the day reached $63,696. Over the weekend, the price fell to $61,308. This is the lowest level since March 20.
In today’s trading, the high price extended up to $66,900 but was unable to sustain the momentum.
In contrast, the March 20 low price stands at $60,760. This is the next major target. Below that, and the 38.2% retracement of the last rise from the January 2024 low stands at $60,314. The price rose and fell but remained above the 38.2% retracement target, keeping buyers in play and more. control technically (at least on the daily chart).
What’s not so good is that Bitcoin price reached a new all-time high price at $73,794 on March 14. This run took the price above the 2021 high, near $69,000. The price over the weekend returned below this level and remained below today’s trading level. .
