Smart bird feeders are very 2020. Smart birdbaths are clearly where it’s at. This week at CES 2025, Birdify is showcasing the Bath Pro, taking a cue from products like the Bird Buddy and applying them to a big saucer of water with a solar-powered fountain in the middle.
Two versions of the product will be available when it goes on sale in March: a standalone bath, priced at $250, and a bath with a stand, which bumps the price up another $50.
All told, the product operates similarly to products like Bird Buddy and Birdfy’s own smart birdhouse. There are a pair of lenses onboard: one 2-megapixel with 1080p video capture and another 3-megapixel, capable of shooting in 2K video.
The system uses AI-based object detection to spot bathing birds and snaps a photo, which is then accessible via the Birdfy app. The standard AI subscription comes with the bath and is free, though the company charges a monthly premium if you want the thing to actually identify species.
Birdfy also announced the Feeder 2 Duo at CES 2025, a $420 bird feeder offering two different camera angles.
