The Biopic Beatles Biopic plans, long -awaited from Sony, finally meet.
Director Sam Mendes went on stage in Cinemacon in Las Vegas to reveal the distribution for the features and said that the four films are ready for the cinema release in April 2028. The surprising plans to make four films – one for each member of the famous group – were announced for the first time last year.
Drumroll, please: Mendes also brought the casting on stage. Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson, as John Lennon, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison and Barry Keoghan, as Ringo Starr. Each of the four films will focus on one of the members of the Fab Four.
“We are not only making a film on the Beatles – we make four,” said Mendes. “It may be a chance to understand them a little more deeply.”
Mendes said that the boss of Sony’s film Tom Rothman described the projects “the first excessive theatrical experience”. After reaching the scene, the four actors recited the lyrics of the group’s song “SGT. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band “, then took a synchronized arc in Beatles style.

Cinemacon is the annual event for Hollywood exhibitors and studios which take place this year from March 31 to April 3. It is presented by Cinema United (formerly the National Association of theater owners).
