The singer of “Piano Man”, 76, announced on Friday, May 23, that he will cancel all the concerts provided for following a recent diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), a condition where excess capped liquid accumulates in cerebral ventricles.

“True care, empathy and concern of everyone means so much for him … It means a lot for me too,” she added, concluding her legend with the lyrics of “Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)”-A song that Billy wrote for her which was published on her 1993 album River of Dreams.

Billy has had an illustrious career over the years. The star won five grammys and was nominated 23 times, he sold more than 150 million records and had 33 first strokes and he was inducted at the temple of renown of the songwriters in 1992 and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.

He played his latest concert by Madison Square Garden as part of his 10 -year record residence in July 2024, marking his 150th show on the site.
