Bills, Browns, Bears and Vikings scheduled for three straight road games

Among the schedule oddities NFL fans look for when the schedule is released each year are teams having to play three consecutive road games in the fall.

Four teams have such periods on their schedule during the 2024 season. The Bills, Browns, Bears and Vikings will all find themselves on the road for three consecutive weeks.

Buffalo will be on the road to face the Ravens on a Sunday night in Week 4 and will face another playoff team in Week 5 in Houston. The road trip concludes with a Monday night game against the Jets and they will play five of their first eight on the road as they are at Miami in Week 2 and Seattle in Week 8.

The Browns will also be on the road in weeks four, five and six. They will face the Raiders, Commanders and Eagles on their long road.

The Chicago race comes later in the season. They will face the Lions on Thanksgiving and have additional time off before facing the 49ers in Week 14. The Bears will then return to face the Vikings on Monday night in Week 15.

A Vikings-Bears game will also cap the Vikings’ three-game road streak. They will be in Chicago in Week 12 after visiting the Jaguars and Titans the previous two Sundays.
