Bill Maher warns woke schools’ critical race theory courses and insistence on keeping students secret about ‘sex changes’ is pushing liberal voters into Trump’s arms

  • The Real Time host said his friends with children “don’t like it” when they come home saying the class was divided into “oppressors and oppressed”.
  • He thinks it’s pushing more liberals into the arms of former President Donald Trump due to ‘other considerations’
  • Maher said his two biggest voting issues are democracy and the environment
  • It comes after furious parents protest outside a Loudoun County School Board meeting to demand ‘an end to racist and divisive ideologies’ in schools

Bill Maher has issued a stern warning against woke school race theory lessons as teachers urge students to keep sex lessons a secret from their parents.

The Real Time host, 66, says liberal voters are being pushed into the arm of former President Donald Trump because of “progressive” upbringing.

In a chat with Trace Adkins, Julia Ioffe and John Meacham, Maher said his two biggest voting issues are democracy and the environment.

But he admitted he has no children and his friends who do ‘don’t like it when they come home and say they’ve divided the class today into oppressors and oppressed’.

Maher continued, “And if I change my gender, I don’t have to tell my parents. There’s bullshit like that that makes people leave, you know, I agree that Donald Trump is a bad guy.

“He’s all that’s wrong with one man, but I have these other considerations, that’s all.

“That’s why, you know, you seem to have such contempt for half the country. I don’t think it will get us where we need to go.

He added that of those who voted for Trump in the last election, he was told “the biggest mistake liberals make is thinking I like him.”

“I think we crossed that line and now the question is how to get back there. How Can We Get Back From I Hate You So Much I Can’t Live With You’.

Maher explained that he would never vote for Trump, but he “understands” why people would vote for him because there are things going on in the country.

He went on to say that it depends on the “priorities” of the voter, and those with children often have different views.

Maher also called out the school system in Portland, where they plan to teach that the concept of gender was brought here by white settlers, saying, “Even Star Trek wouldn’t try that story.”

It comes after irate parents rallied outside a Loudoun County school board meeting on Tuesday to demand “an end to the racist and divisive ideologies infused in public schools.”

The region has become the nerve center of parenting activism, with debates over critical race-theory ideologies spilling over into the rest of the United States.

More than 184,000 furious parents and 'concerned citizens' weighed in on the Department for Education's comment period for a proposed rule change that would redefine sex in Title IX in a way that allows transgender girls to participate in women's sports and use women's locker rooms in schools

Parents also denounced President Joe Bidens’ gender redefinition proposal that will allow transgender female students to participate in women’s sports and use women’s locker rooms in schools.

A slew of parents and “concerned citizens” have flocked to comment on the proposed rule change, saying it dismantles the whole purpose of Title IX protections for women in sports and academics.

GOP Rep. Jim Jordan asked on Twitter on Monday whether the Biden administration was “intentionally trying to kill women’s sport.”

The rule would require all public schools to allow transgender students to participate in sport for the gender they identify with as well as use corresponding locker rooms and restrooms.

This would apply to elementary schools, secondary schools, post-secondary institutions and all others that receive federal funding from the DOE.
