Bill Maher destroys university protesters because they are hypocrites: VIDEO

Bill Maher torched college protesters for being massive hypocrites.

The country has seen anti-American and anti-Israeli protests spread across major college campuses in recent months, with varying degrees of success. Protesters were able to take and hold entire portions of the Columbia, UCLA, and Wisconsin campuses before ultimately being dismantled.

Things didn’t go so well for the SEC protesters, where anti-American and anti-Israel crowds were crushed by freedom-loving patriots.

Maher has seen more than enough, and he thinks it’s time for university protesters to learn some facts about what oppression really is instead of targeting Israelis.

The popular HBO star shared an impressive analysis on “Real Time with Bill Maher” about how women in the Middle East are treated like property, and yet college protesters aren’t heard complaining about the issue . Instead, they simply target Israel – a country where women are safer than anywhere else in the region and are not second-class citizens.

“If you protest for a few hours wearing this (a Palestinian keffiyeh), you have to go all the way and spend an afternoon running errands wearing one of these (a burqa). side of people who ruthlessly oppress women without at least a taste of what you’re supporting,” Maher said at the start of his closing monologue.

Maher then criticized the fact that so many protesters accuse Israel of being an apartheid state while completely ignoring the actual industrial-scale oppression of women throughout the Middle East.

“Today, hundreds of millions of women are treated worse than second citizens. When you impose that a category of human beings does not even have the right to show their faces, that is apartheid and this continues in many countries.

The popular comedian then rattled off a list of examples of women being oppressed in the Islamic world and by Muslims, without the crowds on college campuses seeming to care. He also pointed out that the Middle East is full of countries where wives are legally required to obey everything their husbands say and demand. Where is the outrage over this kind of oppression?

Major props to Maher for having the backbone to stand up and state the basic facts. His comments towards the end were particularly strong:

“It is apartheid that desperately needs your attention. Gender apartheid. This is what should be the social justice issue of your time. How about ‘From the river to the sea, every woman will be free”? But in reality, it’s not a problem at all for a reason. People who do it aren’t white. I hate to have to tell your kids, but non-white people can do bad things. things.

The woke mob loves to trash America, Israel, and countries that truly grant freedom to women and all races. Yet these same cowards would not dare go to Iran to protest the treatment of women. University protesters will never go to Gaza to defend women subjected to Hamas’ brutal oppression.

Women are killed because they refuse to tolerate oppression and genital mutilation is common in the region. Yet there are no massive crowds rampaging through college campuses to support them.
