The more he ages, the more Bill Gates is surprised by what the world explains.
Take billionaires. There are many now from the technology industry, not bad with a policy that is associated with force.
“I always thought that Silicon Valley was left in the center,” said Gates. “The fact that there is now a significant significant grip group is a surprise for me.”
Or take the evolution of technology in the decades since it started Microsoft and has made it one of the most precious companies in the world.
“Incredible things have happened because of the sharing of information on the Internet,” said Gates. This is what he was planning. But once social media companies like Facebook and Twitter have arrived, “you see Ills that I must say that I have not predicted.”
The political division accelerated by technology? “I did not plan to happen,” he said. The technology used as a weapon against broader public interests? “I haven’t predicted this,” he said.
Mr. Gates is techno-optimist but he has limits, such as cryptocurrency. Does he have use?
“None,” he said. “There are people with high IQs who were mistaken on this one.”
