The Rashtriya Janata Dal on Monday (October 20) nominated candidates for 143 seats for the 2025 Bihar Assembly election. RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav will contest from the Raghopur assembly seat in Vaishali district.
Tejashwi has filed his candidature for the October 15 parliamentary elections.
Tejashwi owns movable and immovable assets worth around ₹8.1 crore, according to the affidavit filed by him.
Raghopur will go to polls in the first of two phases of elections on November 6.
Yadav, a sitting MP from Raghopur constituency, won this seat for the first time in 2015.
