An assistant from the Sheriff’s Department of the County of Los Angeles killed a man on Saturday evening near an animated intersection and a shopping district in West Hollywood, which caused a great response from the police and street closings.
The man was taken to the hospital after being killed in the 7100 block on boulevard Santa Monica, near the intersection of the avenue La Brea, at 5:57 p.m., he was in a stable state, according to a press release from the department.
The Fantom vice-veronica called the incident “shooting involving an officer”. She said that all officers were recorded and that there was no other additional information available.
Weho Times published a man’s video on a stretcher loaded in an ambulance. The man appeared alert, screaming and launching his head while he was hoisted in the vehicle.
The region houses the West Hollywood Gateway Mall, which houses a target, better purchase and other stores. Videos shared on social networks have shown that helicopters hovering over the head and the yellow police ribbon blocking the intersection and the parts of the first floor of the shopping center.
“Avoid the BLVD Brea and BLVD Santa Monica area for an active law enforcement survey,” wrote the Sheriff department on X, formerly Twitter. “Our deputies are in the region and several streets are closed. There is no current threat to the community. ”
